“How much does a wrap cost?” is the first question almost every customer asks, and it is a fair one. The honest answer is that it depends on your vehicle and your goals. Two vans that look the same in a parking lot can need very different amounts of material, design time and installation work.

Instead of guessing at a number, here are the factors that actually move the price up or down, so you can plan your budget and get an accurate quote the first time.

1. The size and shape of the vehicle

More surface means more vinyl and more installation time. A small car, a cargo van, a pickup, a box truck and a food trailer all use very different amounts of material. Shape matters too: deep body lines, bumpers, mirrors, handles and rivets take more time to wrap cleanly than flat panels.

2. How much of the vehicle you cover

Coverage is the biggest decision you control:

  • Full wrap: the whole vehicle is covered. The most impact, and the highest investment.
  • Partial wrap: part of the vehicle is covered (for example the back half or the sides) and the paint color is used as part of the design.
  • Lettering and decals: your name, logo, services and phone number in cut vinyl. The most budget-friendly way to brand a work vehicle.

3. Design work

If you already have a logo and a clear idea, design can be quick. If you need a new logo, a full layout built from scratch or several rounds of changes, design takes more time. For fleets, the design is created once and then adapted to each vehicle, which saves time on every vehicle after the first.

4. Material and finish

Professional wrap films and protective laminates are made to conform to curves and handle sun and weather. Standard gloss finishes are the most common. Specialty finishes such as matte, satin, chrome or color-shift films usually cost more and are often used as accents rather than for the whole vehicle.

5. The condition of the vehicle

Vinyl needs a clean, sound surface. Peeling clear coat, rust, deep scratches or old graphics that need to be removed can add preparation time. Paint damage may also affect how the wrap holds and how it comes off later, so we always look at the vehicle before confirming the job.

6. One vehicle or a fleet

Wrapping several vehicles with the same design is usually more efficient than wrapping them one at a time, because the artwork is already done and production can be planned together. If you plan to grow your fleet, tell us. We will set up the design so it is easy to repeat.
